Hi! We are excited to announce a new collaboration agreement with Jamendo.
As you probably know already, Jamendo is one of the greatest online independent music communities and one of the veteran platforms working with Creative Commons licenses. No wonder why we are so happy to work with them!
We hope this collaboration will help musicians by providing them with further transparency and security in their works’ copyright protection. It will also benefit their fans, and companies and businesses interested in licensing and using their music.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Jamendo in the past. Since the very beginning of Safe Creative, in fact. Through this new agreement, Jamendo will be acting as a professional manager, on behalf of any artist, and register part of their music catalog with us. This is just the beginning. Our goal is to work hand in hand to make sure that eventually all Jamendo artists can safely protect their works.
“Safe Creative and Jamendo have both been around for 10 years, and share the same DNA about helping out music authors share their creations the right way. It was only logical and most of all natural to strengthen our partnership and allow our artists to feel safer with sharing their music online. We are thrilled to take this to the next level.”
(Martin Guerber, Music & Content Manager at Jamendo)
The generation of robust digital evidence, through technological tools, is key in today’s music scenario for the safe distribution of musical works. It is essential in order to allow their correct monetization, both in the digital world and in analogical formats. It enables easier licensing options and fair deals for authors.
“We are delighted to keep working with Jamendo in order to provide their music authors with the best tools. With their knowledge and expertise, we can keep up with the pace of musicians’ needs to safely share their music.”
(Mario Pena, CBDO at Safe Creative)
